Bio-Drive
Research & development
We’re excited to share that we are actively working on three cutting-edge R&D projects, designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability in renewable energy solutions. These projects are set to launch in Q1 2025, and we can’t wait to unveil the next wave of innovation. Stay tuned for updates!
Modular Renewable System (MRS)
- BIO-LOADER for feedstock preparation.
- BIO-REACTOR for gas production and retention.
- BIO-DRIVE for energy generation and heat recovery.
- BIO-RECOVER for nutrient and water recovery.

BIO-MAX
The BIO-MAX is a state-of-the-art system designed to maximise biogas output from feedstock by ensuring optimal homogenisation of materials within the tanks. By creating a consistent mixture, the BIO-MAX enhances the efficiency of the anaerobic digestion process, enabling higher gas yields from the same input materials. This innovative technology is set to revolutionise the efficiency of AD facilities, helping operators achieve more with less.
The BIO-MAX is currently ending its beta testing, with extensive trials almost completed, allowing us to fine-tune its performance and reliability.
We are aiming to launch the product in Q1 2025, bringing this groundbreaking solution to the AD market.

BIO-RECOVER
The BIO-RECOVER system is an innovative solution designed to maximise resource efficiency in anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities.
Developed as part of a joint venture between Bio-Drive and Esmil Process Systems, Bio-Recover utilises advanced technologies to recover valuable nutrients and purify water, transforming process by-products into usable resources such as clean water and solid fertilisers. This cutting-edge system aligns perfectly with the principles of a circular economy by minimising waste and enhancing the sustainability of AD operations.
Through an exclusive partnership with Esmil Process Systems, Bio-Drive has secured the rights to bring the BIO-RECOVER system to the AD market, ensuring this groundbreaking technology is available exclusively through our platform.
The system is proven and now being fine tuned with a new naturally derived flocculant and polymer, with beta testing trials scheduled for Q1 2025.
We aim to roll out the BIO-RECOVER system as soon as we have gathered sufficient performance data over the following months, delivering a truly unique and powerful solution for AD facilities across the UK.
